About Vanilla Vadz

Once Upon A Time, on a tiny dot on the map of the world, known as the Seychelles, there lived a little vanilla girl with big dreams…

Fast forward a few years, heartbreaks, friendships, plane tickets and donuts later and she sits in her dorm room in the beautiful city of London ready to start a whole new world of adventures.

I’m not here to pretend I know anything at all about anything. I may however know a thing or two about books but that’s besides the point. I’m just here to share with you my thoughts and experiences, my dreams and aspirations, my mistakes and the lessons learnt, in the hopes that you can find something to relate to, something that makes you smile, cry, reflect or just makes you wonder what you should have for diner.

This year I’ve embarked on a vegan adventure, in the hopes of discovering more about a lifestyle that could potentially help save our planet while at the same time making me the healthiest and strongest version of myself possible. I’ve resolved to see more of this beautiful world that we call home and widen my perceptions of people and the way we think and live. I invite you to join me on my food and travel adventures, as well as the experience that is the life of a university student.

Why should you care what little old me has to say? You shouldn’t. But I invite you not to judge a book by its cover. So don’t take me too seriously, but do if the need arises. Consider this my reflective life journal. Sit back, grab some Oreos and let’s see what life has to offer us next.

This reminds me of myself at a younger age, I even used to hide during the day to finish a book!

😀 I really can’t help it especially if the book has reached one of those awaited climatic moment then there’s no way I can put it down and try to do something else (or fall asleep for that matter!)
